Biotin Complex is suitable for adults who suffer from biotin deficiency or have an increased need for Vitamin H. Biotin deficiency typically occurs after weeks or even years of consuming raw egg whites or intravenous nutrition (common in severe malabsorption cases). This deficiency usually leads to progressive hair thinning, even to the point of total hair loss, including eyebrows and eyelashes. In most cases, a flaky (seborrheic) and red (eczema-like) rash is present.
