Vit B Complex is indicated for those who, after careful evaluation, have found shortages of B vitamins in the body or an increased need.
Deficiency of these nutrients may be found for 3 main reasons:
- Thermolability: almost all B vitamins-except B2, B6, and, to some extent, B12-are sensitive to heat. Cooking, therefore, reduces their content in foods.
- Photosensitivity: vitamins B2, B6 and B8 are photosensitive, so they lose or reduce their properties when foods containing them are exposed to light.
- Intake of antivitamins: some substances (including birth control drugs, anticonvulsants, oxytiamine and many others) reduce the bioavailability of B vitamins by hindering their absorption.
B vitamins are involved in many functions that are vital to our well-being: it is very important to keep their concentration in the body under control and, if necessary, to resort to dietary supplements.
Warning: do not use during pregnancy.

CALCIUM PANTOTHENATE (VIT. B5), PYRIDOXINE (VIT. B6), RIBOFLAVIN (VIT. B2), THIAMIN (VIT. B1), FOLIC ACID, BIOTIN (VIT. H), CYANOCOBALAMIN (VIT. B12), MICROCRYSTALLINE CELLULOSE. ANTI-CAKING AGENTS: CALCIUM PHOSPHATES, MAGNESIUM SALTS OF FATTY ACIDS.
Calcium Pantothenate (vitamin B5)
Vitamin B5 is involved in the synthesis and metabolization of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats and in the synthesis of cholesterol and hormones.
A deficiency of this nutrient presents with symptoms such as mental fatigue, physical tiredness, and tingling.
Pyridoxine (vitamin B6)
Vitamin B6 contributes to the metabolism of sugars, fatty acids, and amino acids; it is also involved in the formation of hormones, red blood cells, and white blood cells.
It promotes normal immune system functions and cognitive functions, such as memory and concentration.
A deficiency of it, which is rare but possible in people on a strict vegan or vegetarian diet, usually manifests as weakness, severe apathy, physical and mental fatigue, and sleep and nervous system disorders.
Riboflavin (vitamin B2)
Vitamin B2 is involved in the synthesis of the body's energy processes; therefore, it is essential for the body to have the right energy to cope with daily activities.
A deficiency of it can manifest with symptoms such as poor appetite, muscle weakness, anemia, tachycardia, and eye disorders.
Thiamine (Vitamin B1)
Like vitamin B2, vitamin B1 participates in the synthesis of glucose into energy and gives the body the proper strength to carry out daily activities.
A deficiency of this nutrient can cause damage to the nervous and cardiovascular systems and difficulty swallowing food, followed by emaciation and weakness.
Cyanocobalamin (active form of vitamin B12)
Vitamin B12 is involved in numerous processes essential to the body. Among these, the most important are the metabolism of fatty acids, amino acids, nucleic acids, and in the production of red blood cells.
It is also very important for the normal functioning of the nervous system and normal psychological function.
A deficiency of this vitamin, especially if prolonged, can lead to the development of a severe form of anemia (called "pernicious anemia"), nervous system disorders, weakness and fatigue.
Folic acid (vitamin B9)
Vitamin B9, or folic acid, is involved in protein and DNA synthesis and hemoglobin formation.
Folic acid deficiency can cause decreased production of red blood cells, resulting in anemia.
Biotin (vitamin B8 or B7)
Biotin, also known as vitamin B8, B7 or vitamin H, is involved in protein metabolism and the synthesis of glucose and fatty acids. It is particularly useful for maintaining healthy hair, nails and skin.
Its deficiency (common in people who consume large amounts of raw egg white, an antagonist of vitamin B8) can cause symptoms such as lack of energy, nausea, and skin, nail, and hair problems.
